Andrei Cholak

After finishing school in a remote northern village, I joined the Higher School of Economics (HSE) as an undergraduate, specialising in law. I was particularly interested in procedural law, which developed a keen eye for documentation and a creative approach to problem solving. Participated in a volunteer student organisation that provided free legal consultations to vulnerable groups of the population.
After enrolling in the Master’s programme at the University of Bologna, I attended numerous conferences held in Vienna, Belgrade, Ljubljana and other cities. Served as a translator for the University of Bologna’s law journal. Graduated with the highest grade of 110/110 «Cum laude» with a thesis titled “GDPR and AI in Financial Markets: A Balance between Data Privacy and Investment Efficiency».
