Pavel Lazavenka

Pavel is a practicing data privacy professional with over 6 years of GDPR experience. He has worked at all levels—from drafting policies and handling data subject requests to strategic planning and project management.

Pavel began his privacy career in 2018 with a legal background — an LLB degree in International Law. This foundation allows him to understand the legal logic of GDPR and apply it in practice.

Over the years, Pavel has gained experience across multiple industries: consulting, online and mobile entertainment, B2B SaaS, and automotive technologies. He has worked both in-house and as a consultant, building data protection systems from scratch and maintaining existing processes.

Today, Pavel serves as a trainer on the GDPR Data Privacy Professional course, where he shares practical insights and helps students work through real-world cases. He is also a member of IAPP — the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
