Before the DPP course, I knew about the existence of GDPR, some of its requirements related to data subject rights, DPO appointment, risk assessment and the need to implement personal data protection measures, and of course, about the size of fines for violations of the regulation’s provisions. However, my knowledge was not sufficient to properly assess risks, lead a project, or provide consultations during product development.
What I learned in the course
The DPP course helped me study the structure of GDPR and the principles of how it works, as well as understand sources of additional information for working through the most complex and controversial issues, dive deeper into each section of the regulation, fill gaps in my knowledge and structure it.
What makes the course good and who I think it’s suitable for
I also want to note that the GDPR DPP course is accompanied by amazing visualization in the form of diagrams, tables and metaphors developed by the course trainers, as well as practical work that helps you practice the material covered in a safe environment, and the trainers provide accurate feedback and address all questions and examples from course participants. I believe that this course is suitable for everyone who wants to understand GDPR but doesn’t know where to start. In this course, you will get the necessary foundation and understand the system, and you will also be able to identify areas for further improvement in this field.
