Elena Sebyakina

Before joining our team as a Senior Consultant, Elena worked as a Global DPO and local Head of Legal at large international IT group for 6 years. Under her leadership, an e-consent portal was implemented, Binding Corporate Rules were registered, a Data Breach response process was established, and all core business processes were brought into GDPR compliance.

Until June 2020, she served as a Global DPO for an international IT group, where she had been leading GDPR compliance implementation across all levels since 2014, including recruitment, marketing, development, and finance. In June 2020, she joined the DPO team as a Senior Consultant.

Elena graduated from the Faculty of Law at Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2006.

Since 2018, she has been certified by IAPP in CIPP/E and has trained in CIPM, Privacy by Design, and Data Protection Technology (DPT). She is a member of IAPP and RPPA, a regular speaker at professional conferences.

Elena has extensive experience in privacy contracting, including Data Processing Agreements (DPA), Data Sharing Agreements (DSA), and Joint-Controllership Agreements (JCA), among others.

She has also additional education in leadership, project management and team management.
